Sugar Cane is available in small packs (approximately 150g ) and large packs (approximately 500g) and is kept frozen on our premises. Once sent it can be re-frozen, like Palm Nuts, but once out of the plastic packet it will last up to 3 months in the fridge. and will give your parrots hours of fun chewing it to bits. They are full of natural vitamins and minerals as well.
Do not keep Sugar Cane de-frosted and in plastic as this causes it to decay. Once de-frosted, keep Sugar cane on a saucer in the fridge. Cut off a segment (about the thickness of a £1 coin) and feed to your bird as a treat.
